It's time for you to take on the cube (virtually)
All of us at AOK Events have been blown away by the incredible feedback that we have had from the hundreds of virtual events that we have created and executed over the last six months. Helping our clients stay properly engaged with their employees and customers has been a real challenge, but we have risen to the task and we will shortly be launching our ideas to our clients for Q1 next year.
There are still two weeks to go in 2020 however and with most employees working from home for some or all of their working weeks, keeping them engaged should be at the top of everyone’s list, to ensure you finish the year as positively as possible. Whilst courses like “How to ….Improve your Wellbeing” and “How to….Improve your Virtual Sales Skills” tackle mindfulness and better selling heads on, we have had dozens of enquiries from clients who want their teams to simply join a weekly session in order to stop work for an hour, interact with their colleagues, have fun and learn something new. Without it costing a fortune….
In partnership with Maddox, one of our favourite suppliers (and the UK’s leading magicians), we are proud to offer a course that helps you become a part of the 5.8% of the world’s population that can solve a Rubik’s cube. It’s a wonderful team-building course that has longevity, with it being set over a 5 week period (1 hour a week) and by the end we guarantee that everyone will be able to solve the cube from memory in less than 5 minutes. We will send everyone a cube in advance and you can even have a grand finale with guests competing against each other to see who can solve it the fastest.
Working from home or “living from work” as some like to call it, means it’s even harder to create boundaries between work and life. The commute used to provide a transition between the two, but now many are working the hours they used to commute and find themselves in back to back virtual meetings all day long with limited time for breaks. No wonder many are struggling with their mental health. More than half of adults and two thirds of young people said their mental health had worsened during lockdown (source – MIND) and we would like to help you address this worrying statistic.
Of course AOK Events are organising virtual conferences, Xmas parties, dozens of cocktail makings and wine tastings, intimate sporting watchalongs, Escape Rooms, Musical Bingo, virtual horse racing and so much more, but we are really proud of our training courses and looking after your staff this Winter is going to be pivotal in ensuring that the lasting effects of COVID19 are as positive as they can possibly be.
